I remember walking into The Double Scoop to meet one of my best friends, Jasmine Cronin, and being surprised when this very beautiful woman with the most captivating blue eyes turned around in her chair to look at me as Jasmine called my name. That night, I found myself drawn to this woman, listening to her speak, watching her move. Something about her just held my attention, and it was more than just her appearance. It was almost as if I knew her, but we had never met until that evening.

After that meeting, Jewel and I saw each other again several times on the island. She had said she'd been on Morada before, but had little memory of it. She also seemed to be seeking something, but never said what it was she needed to find. I marveled the ease at which she seemed to be with the island and it's inhabitants. It was like it was second nature to her. I finally managed the courage to ask her to accompany me to the park just off of Discovery Road, a popular place for the local children to play and for island residents to stroll on a lazy, sunny day. While there, a pickpocket stole the wallet from Jewel's bag. Once she realized this, she let out a yelp and yelled after the thief. I started to pull out my dagger and prepared to chase him down, but I was amazed by how quickly Jewel chased after him, caught him, and proceeded to beat the living tar out of that miserable pickpocket! She did get the wallet back, and the pickpocket got a trip to the emergency room before the CMPD threw him in a cell. This is when I became totally smitten with this woman.

I did finally ask Jewel out on a real date, which went well, and was followed by a stroll around the West End, daggers drawn. The brawler scum never had a chance! Today, we are very close, in heart and spirit, and I am more fascinated and in awe of this incredible creature every moment I spend with her. I haven't felt like this since many years ago, when I was engaged to be married to another very beautiful woman named Marilyn, who left me alone on the island to be in service to her home country of France, never to return. In a way, Jewel reminds me of her a great deal. Just in the way she speaks, and the way she seems to float as she walks. Sometimes, I almost feel compelled to call her Marilyn, but I know she's Jewel, and one look in those sapphire eyes of hers tells me there is a mystery inside of her that will need solving someday.

If you see Jewel around on the island, say hello to her, maybe talk with her some. She's honest, loyal, and will help you out if you need help.

She's my sparkling Jewel....my precious gem.

More information on Jewel is coming soon!
